As a self-taught illustrator, it's strange to look at these two pieces and see how I've grown and what I've learned over the years.

The right, is a stolen and photoshopped 'live, laugh, love for 'witches" version that's spreading around Instagram like digital Chlamydia.
Clara. 2020. pencil on oil-blotted paper. 11"x14". This started as a prelim for a much larger and differently colored painting I want to do, but I enjoyed the prelim so much that I just continued to work on it as a finished drawing. The painting will be acidic veridian and amber.
