Unfortunately, Indigo, the Chief Clown, forced The Carnival to move on, leaving the town to its doom...

4) Don't allow players to get ALL skills

Most RPGs do this! D&D is a clear example, again. You can build very different types of wizards or fighters, depending on your choice of abilities, and play-styles will be very different
