@bogleech See that's a fair criticism, though I would say it's always been the case. If you look through the current (post-gen 3) art of all 1008 Pokemon, it's about 50% dynamic poses, 50% just standing there. Frigibax and friends aren't out of place next to these guys

@bogleech @PaleaRaptor @NeroIntruder But it doesn't even do that. Are you really not seeing how wildly different these two shapes are? Look how long the 3D one is, it goes up past the Pokemon's head. Look how the rounded part joins to the straight part, the art has a much bigger curve to it.

@bogleech @PaleaRaptor @NeroIntruder This is not rotated differently. It's a different size, shape, thickness, has different markings, the spikes are angled differently. Please get the 3D model and show me the angle that changes this this much. I promise you it's impossible.

@bogleech @PaleaRaptor @NeroIntruder Neither are common or reasonable at all, they'd both be a tremendous, ludicrous waste of resources. And I'm sorry, but there is no camera angle change that can cause this difference

@flabawaba That's not unusual for the stock art, though. There are some in more dynamic poses (true this gen too, like the Paldean Tauroses and Dudunsparce), but for the most part they're just standing there. The more complex ones need to be basic poses, so you can see 'em properly

It's just really funny that I was like "yeah, it does look like they traced Lowkix", and then they showed this image to prove it, and it immediately pushed me to "oh, they absolutely didn't trace Lowkix"

@cookieblobber @BillSpooks The Kanto Tauros art is way more static than any of the Paldean ones. They're all in 10x more dynamic poses.
