Basculin getting an evolution is pretty crazy to me, especially when the original Pokémon were designed ONLY to help round out Unova’s water types due to its lower number of water types, and Basculegion feels like a proper evolution to something very much needed
These are the big 4 indie characters competing for a spot in Smash and nobody can convince me otherwise
Why must we always pit these two against each other?
It seems so silly to me, while they draw comparisons in terms of genre and what they rep they aren’t in direct competition, and both have VERY different reasons as to why they should get in, there’s no need to continue
