I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, it makes me super emotional that no matter who gets revealed as the newcomer tomorrow that someone’s dream will come true, a character will have succeeded in their battle to make it in, and it’ll make someone happy and that make me smile

Shantae as a character has proven to be insanely popular among the Smash community, and consistently appears at the top of polls! Alongside this Wayforward has mentioned their interest in adding her as a character as far back as Smash 4!
