3/23 So we know about Red2Green and no delays; but what do patients know about this? Why should there only be challenges from the Flow Team or Senior Managers chasing delays? Patients should also hold us to account and spur us to make every day count #SAFER
I read over 60 leaflets for hospital wards. Some created unintended barriers e.g language, complication, perspective and meaning. I’ve created a series that simplifies via simple visual posters with minimal words aimed to empower patients 💥

Creating the right environment and being mentally present when listening to someone is so important. It can help them feel valued, relaxed and trust you. Take the time to really listen.
We can’t solve all the problems others might be experiencing; sometimes all we can do is be there for them while they figure things out & let them know they are not alone #bekind
If we want to improve & shape healthcare, we need to include those who use it
