こちらの3作品は瀬戸内海集の第2集から。吉田が昭和5年の春に友人と連れ立って出かけた写生旅行で手がけた作品群です。
春のうららかな日差しと心地良い空気を感じます。

まずは「瀬戸内海 鞆之港」

In 1916, Shinsui exhibited "Woman Looking in a Mirror" at the exhibition, and it fascinated Watanabe Shozaburo. Then Watanabe decided to start making woodcut print works of Shinsui, and later, he created over 130 printworks from 1916 to 1960. (2/2)

"Sacred Bridge"
A red Shinkyo bridge in the midst of nature.
Underneath it, the water flow is cleverly expressed only by the reflection of sunlight.
The flat surface of the water makes me imagine the water temperature and murmuring.

「神橋」
自然いっぱいの中の赤い神橋。
その下には水流が光の反射のみで巧妙に表現されています。
フラットな水面からは水温やせせらぎを想像してしまいます。
