@JadeTheArchMage Ah, indeed! The Squid Girl collaboration may not be too familiar to those who never played the Wii U game, but it was incredibly fun to see!
Heres an interesting design based submission; The design of the Takoroka Galactic Tie Dye may be a reference to the cover art for Metallica's album Ride the Lightning!
Perhaps I could show my father this, he may be a bit more supportive of my "Squid Research" career.
In the Salmon Run Training Guide, theres a little sticker here with what appears to be an unused Judd Facemask!
Funnily enough, this mask was in the game at some point! but went unused, seemingly being replaced by the Octoking mask.

If you didn't play the first game, then you may not know that the Dualie Squelchers were originally the Dual Squelcher, alot of us veterans miss it very much... though it is still here in spirit!
When you dodge roll the guns connect, forming a full Dual Squelcher, incredible!
Session 5 of Marinas Chat Room gives us a very intriguing insight into the Great Turf War and the general past:
-Cuttlefish was a Second Lieutenant
-There was a Castle likely around where Arowana Mall is today
-As there were no respawn points, many may have died.

Splatoon 2 supports many languages, though unfortunately Korean is not one of them. Despite this, the game is still available in S.Korea, so Nintendo made a Play Guide for players to understand!
This Guide includes tutorials and tips, and even some unseen artwork (even THAT one!)
Heads up, potentially controversial fact!

In the Fork VS Spoon promotional art, Marina's skin tone is much lighter than it should be, being even close to matching Pearl's, while other similar art portrays it properly

In the official Splatoon 2 Relationship Chart, it is implied that Callie herself decided to make the deal with Octavio, likely before she knew about she'd be hypnotised!
This concept art from the Artbook also implies this, with them vibing together

The watermelon we see in MakoMart is actually a Squiddymelon, and changes colour based on ink that you put into it!
There is actually quite alot more fruits that can be seen here that we almost never see in game on this page in the Splatoon 2 Artbook! https://t.co/D9yZp41fvp
In the first Splatoon singleplayer trailer, we can see a strange looking octarian that we've never seen in game, wearing gear that almost makes them look like an executioner!
It is assumed that this would be a preliminary design for the octosniper!
