I do occasionally dabble in DnD stuff, so i guess im one of the #dndartists ? Cant show a lot of it, as its for private games and such, but heres some stuff ive done of DnD characters
2) use references of eyes - eyes convey a lot, but artists forget they do, and draw eyes exactly 1 way. big no no
3) BIG one - chemistry. How do characters emotions interact? How does one feel about how the other is feeling or what they are doing. I tried to do this here:
Was watching Johnny English with @MortemOdium and Johnny has such Deisel energy sometimes, I had to draw this! Also, Exam tomorrow, wish me luck!
Was allowed the great privilege of having a go at designing a character for the universe of @MortemOdium , so I came up with this barrister Owl (as a law student, it only felt right). I think Octavia suits her well!

Ok, so people wanted to know how i did this, here are a few tips:
first, use lighting to draw attention to focal points. here the face and hr was bright, but also there are shapes of light throughout which taper to point towards the face. ive highlighted them here.

Had a bit of a rough stretch, and still have fuck tonnes of work, but im doing these where i can!
