Drew Al in a burgonet, adapted to horns! tried to leave room for ruff
Out of interest, which STYLE of helmet would look better for my knight characters? Burgonets (black one) have the lower back, protecting the neck. I have drawn Al in a Morion, which has the back exposed and smaller cheek guards.
qrt with your improvement
I dont have any very old art saved, so i can only do 4 years difference! But yeah, ive come a long way... https://t.co/PPg9ez77uk
Got a one way ticket to the depress-express this week, but cheered myself up by designing a helmet and some armour for Al. Note the hinge on the helmet to he can put it on over his horns. Also a description of some things for those interested.
Mucha - especially his Slavic Epic series. Love the mythical vibe
Cedric Peyravernay - angular shapes, etc etc, you know the drill ;)
Wylie Beckert - surprise surprise, more angular shapes. Also wonderful sense of fantasy
Leyendecker - amazing use of shapes, a really angular style ive taken a lot from!
