Them turning Sabrina into an actress in BW2 was such a random thing to do, but at the same time it's such a fun, unexpected way to expand a little bit more on the character
Shoutout to the ORAS ones too by the way. This particular gen just had a LOT of really good artwork for these characters, since they were 2D sprites instead of models
They had four different designs just for this one class of trainers for no reason at all, and they're all really good
I dunno why Pokémon X & Y went so hard on the designs for the generic trainers, but I do appreciate it a lot
It's fun how Clawitzer's regular and shiny colors are the inverse of how real lobsters are, where the red ones are common and the blue ones are super rare
I feel like this guy right here might just be the *one* Pokémon to be no one's favorite. Design-wise it's literally just its evolution but with a few less parts, I don't think there's any other Pokémon out there that's literally just an inferior version of another visually
Whiscash has its initials somewhere in its design, thus technically making it a Mario Brother
15. Pokémon Sword (NS) - 12/06
It was Good. Extremely flawed, underwhelming in a lot of regards, and overall felt VERY rushed, but still somehow ended up being perfectly enjoyable and fun to play. I see myself replaying it in the future, like I do with other games in the series
Good morning. I was about to post "thank you Pokémon anime for giving this girl some proper pants" but then I realized that... no, she doesn't look like that in the anime. She looks like that in the concept art, yeah, but in the anime she just uses the 1st design anyways. Oh well
