These were adapted from two of my contributions to #Mermay in 2019. The 2D versions took me a combined 15 hours to complete over two days, whereas the 3D versions took a combined 150 hrs to complete over 5 months. Still, there is a unique emotion captured in the 2D versions. #b3d

#TBT In 2019 I drew this pair of pictures to kick-off and conclude my participation in the #Mermay challenge. Since December I’ve been working on adapting these two into 3D. It will be my first non-fan-art 3D project and I’m excited to show them off at the beginning of May.

Is there some kind of rhyme or reason to when #PortfolioDay happens, or is it just whenever the hashtag happens to take off again? Seems like it happens monthly or so.

At this moment in my life I’m not actually looking for new employment, but I do enjoy excuses to share my art
