But there's 1 crucial detail that everyone forgets about, the characters can also emote through BODY LANGUAGE.

And there are all kinds of little touches like this, that the current models replicate, like the size of the quills, the fact that they raised up the middle quill so 3D sonic will have that iconic three quill silhouette from a side view just like the 2D art,-

Even down to how they emote, these 4 screenshots all have 1 thing in common, but for some reason, according to sonic fans, if it's in 3D, then it's bad.

Hell, this was even the case back then with SA1&2 (among other titles), they made the in-game models replicate whatever current 2D artwork uekawa had at the time, and of course, as his artstyle evolved, so did the models.

The current sonic character models are supposed to be 3D representations of yuji uekawa's current 2D art style, and IMO, their pretty accurate all things considered.

@stillNIKeY @Radical_1991 Thanks, and maybe it is since Frontiers hasn't come out yet, but with the 1st & 2nd movie, 3rd movie & the knuckles series, CU, Origins, and Prime and Frontiers on the way, it just feels like there's so much new stuff on the horizon, it feels like, well, a Renaissance lol.
