In Mulan, is Yao meant to be implied to have only one eye? I thought it was a black eye at first but it doesn't ever heal over the course of at least weeks

It's funny because there IS a name for it in Mormon circles: The Nephi Effect. Nephi is one of the people in the Book Of Mormon and anywhere, A N Y W H E R E he is portrayed in ANY media he's given a headband. It became so prevalent as to become an inside joke XD
