Speaking of Stella, today's scrapped content is an unused Stella sprite that might be familiar to anyone that has watched D-Frag (and if you haven't JUST GO DO IT)
The file is even called "Stellafuna" in honor of Funabori

#DailyVA11HallA Day 12, 6th day. Dana goes to Jill's apartment and we learn many things. Like her past, her present, her cat and even her face.

By the end things get messy, but don't worry, Boss got your back.
Speaking of her, here's an unused pop-up, similar to the one where Alma shouts.
It was supposed to show up when Dana tells Rad Shiba to do tricks, but we weren't too happy with how it looked.

The 4th day is also the point where Deal and Betty come back to the bar for the first time in the full game (and would do so every Friday)
Speaking of which, at one point Deal almost looked like this before we decided to switch to his older sprite but remastered.

Some facts about Streaming-chan:
a) Her script was completed in one afternoon and saw virtually no revisions
b) Her cap is a reference to the game Cavern Kings https://t.co/reDneGkiNw
c) She was complete so fast because she was so fun to write
d) She has zero chill whatsoever

Why did we feel like we needed to do her justice?
She's a hacker that isn't built up from any nerdy archetype (on the contrary) and a family woman whose joys and frustrations stem from her love of them all the same
If we saw her elsewhere we'd be mad we didn't come up with her

#DailyVA11HallA Day 9, Third day of the full game and the day Alma finally shows up again.
While she doesn't have any sprites between her prototype self (and its revision) and her final version, she did show up in a couple of promotional pieces before her final full sprite

What our final answer? Something out of left field (in relation to our frame of reference then), a character design that looks more mature than youthful, welcoming and warm instead of just "approachable". Someone without a fabricated persona that made her "untouchable" too
