I just began @SanguMandanna's book and had to stop almost straight away to come and say it had me instantly: Mika is adopted, her bio family is Indian and my heart opened in half joyous, half painful recognition. Plus the writing style is lovely and there's already sapphic rep ❤️

DAMN do I love a powerful opening chapter, promising thick, dark, magic runneling through the seeming mundane.
