I am so excited for next week: New Mutants #19 AND Planet-Size X-Men #1! The #HellfireGala continues!!!
@saintwalker98 @ElJeasel People’s mileage may vary, but I loved this deconstructionist moment in Batman: RIP, only for it to be undermined by the inevitable plot twist villain reveal. I’ve noticed Morrison does that a lot (Xorn in New X-Men being perhaps the worst example).
@RedClops123 Who are the hypocrites? Isn’t it hypocrisy to forgive Cyclops for threatening the entire earth with extinction, but not the [former] “nazis, eugenicists, and genocidal monsters” on Krakoa? Isn’t extinction a quantitatively worse threat than genocide?
@RedClops123 @CerebroCast Krakoa is just another mutant sanctuary for ALL mutants, similar to what Cyclops tried to establish in San Francisco and again on Utopia. All the mutants on Krakoa have agreed to “kill no man,” but the genocidal, supremacist element among mankind has not done the same.
Well, well, well...
DC thought they could sneak this one in under the radar, but we noticed!
I have to say, this exceeds expectations—Batman is officially either LGBTQ or an ally!
May we all have a #HappyPride2021!!!🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
I have to LOL at Black Panther sitting there silently as Gyrich says he is “isn’t available.”
Avengers #181 (1979)
Unsurprisingly, DC has yet to reveal the Batman Pride cover by Jen Bartel. But this Joshua Middleton variant does use rainbow colors... 🤔
@GL2814_3 Yeah, I think that’s because they were going for a bit more “realism”— at least compared to the #AvengersAssemble animated show where they assembled every episode.
Too much superhero-ing can kill you (e.g. Tony, Nat, Vision, Pietro, etc...) 😢
@RiverdaleDark Very Archie’s Weird Mysteries... I love it! 👽🦋👽🦋
