Soldier has multiple in-game voicelines alluding to the countries of origin of his teammates. Why does he think they're all Americ--oh, wait, I forgot. Continuity and Soldier don't mix. Not because of bad writing, mind you, but because of Soldier's lead poisoning.
Look up in the top left corner, where this comic is described as a fiction. It seems like it is implying that this is fiction in canon to. So, theory: Saxton Hale doesn't believe in ghosts or the supernatural, but he still tries to profit off the things the mercs tell him about.
No questions from Scout is a good policy in general. He was probably going to ask if Pauling was free on Tuesday or something.
I like the implication that Demoman is going Demoknight against the robots (because of the crown). He is also the only one applying a cosmetic.
"I'd help, but as you can see I will be fighting a yeti for nine more hours."
Guys we could've had Saxton Hale as the tenth class. Now I hate yetis.
Don't get me wrong, the Mann vs Machine trailer we got was absolutely phenomenal in every way. But can you imagine if Valve had animated Saxton Hale himself talking about robots while beating the shit out of a yeti to announce/promote MvM?
Hippies be yelling "Citizen's arrest!" and then not lift a finger to stop you from beating up their yeti.
You know what, we need more hippie Bidwell. Protect this man at all costs.
Bidwell deserves an Employee of the Century award. This poor man has to put up with Saxton's each and every whim while probably running Mann Co. almost entirely by himself (let's face it, I don't think Saxton does much but make demands and fight things).
He's right, this is 100% more entertaining than scientists. I'd read a comic about these two.
