For most of their history, the Shu worked steel but could only get ores from trade. Any steel was used for their cobra helmets, arrows, and blades, like this light cavalry trooper’s sabre-axe. Even modern Imperial troops tend to wear minimal armor unless the situation demands it.

Katatoan are a Pakardiant order of hunters and warriors. Normally they wear a simple lamellar cuirass, bow, and knife, but in times of war they expand their kits with spears, axes, shields, and additional pieces of armor.
