@AlexJaffe Yeah, and I'd love for it to lead into a more 80s Shiva, like she's trained herself to physical perfection in pursuit of a goal and now she's fulfilled that goal. So... what now? And you get that transition from 70s thrill-seeker to eventually just embracing nothingness.
@donoDMG1 I don't wanna be that guy, but the beard is very much not the original Green Arrow costume.
@prettybirdll Pls @MishaGreen don't have Lady Shiva's movie debut be as a League of Assassins miniboss I swear that stuff is a lot more recent than it sounds and never fit her character anyways I can show you the comics in case anyone tries to argue thank you ma'am happy new year :)
Hey folks, just calling in from GMT-3 to wish you all a Happy New Year! You've all been wonderful pals for the last 365 days and I hope the next 365 treat you just like you deserve!
And if it doesn't... kick its ass!
I'm a big fan of his work on Jonah Hex. #33 has some gorgeous action choreography and setting, and #50 is just one big tour de force. Plus, him coming back to do All-Star Western #34 was a blessing. https://t.co/DP3MCIDuFR
@_BR404 Yup! Mostly as a throwing weapon, but she does know her way around knives.
@TheBat_Family Personally, I just enjoy the transitive quality implications of it.
If Selina can beat the Flashes... and Shiva can beat Selina...
@Cyberjaeger It could be that she wanted a warm-up, or that despite her comment she did want to test Renee a little before the main event. Personally, I like the latter. Her main goal was fighting a Black Lantern, sure, but why not also try out the new Question along the way?
While we're all here having a good laugh, please be aware that:
- Lady Shiva is at her best when she's not written as a villain
- O'Neil/Cowan's THE QUESTION has the best Lady Shiva ever
- It's finally getting reprinted in an omnibus in April next year and pre-orders are up
