@Jonsei93 I think him JUST seeing himself as Clark is a bit dated and is rooted in that post crisis push that he shouldn’t be an immigrant. I think it comes from writers who don’t really get the power of inherited identity. This is why its so great when he reveals Kal/Clark

@AlanTuckerson Superman vs gun violence and racism is a very worthwhile story. This is reflected best in Action #702 with that version of the character. As far as the version that’s in the movie I think it’s really cool the two versions fought in Adventures #526

Feel like dedicating part of my day to my ongoing mission to spread the word that Superman’s rouges gallery is top tier. Give me an antagonist and I’ll tell you what I love about them and or my favorite story featuring them.

I’m really digging Justice League. The Superman characterization especially. Plus focusing on group relationships on different levels over focusing on “big massive event” is refreshing

one of those moments that sticks with me for just how simply and perfectly it was executed. Clark laughing because the idea of him looking alien is funny to him, Lex assuming he’s the one being laughed at. Two great character moments that could be heavily dissected in 4 panels.

I’ll also add the best 90’s Superboy stuff was when he was highlighting Kirby creations. If it were up to me I’d permanently give him one of these looks. Solidify the legion of Kon- OMACs

If this continues we’re really going to have to start talking about @fxstudiocolor as one of the best colorists for Superman. There’s a vibrancy and romance that’s very fitting for the character
