Aside from certain fans just being flat out shitty, Doc Shaner isn’t some nostalgic Superman must be one way guy. He’s always shown appreciation for new looks and has proven his ability to show Superman’s range of emotion without hacky angry eyes

Coming in at a time when many fans felt Superman had been too dreary or edgy. Then Kuder came along with a bright joyful Superman and became another example of complaining fans just looking the other way.
