My jaw dropped with excitement from this awesome page in Superman #24. The whole issue really did feel like it’d be right at home if it was part of the classic DC Comics Presents.
60. He feels the whole emotional spectrum. Anger is a part of a lot of his stories but again he knows his responsibility and I think he’s learned how to handle his emotions in a healthy way
56. He can still be overwhelmed. I think it’s important to show that he of all people can also feel this way.
10. He’s a romantic hero. He’s set up a picnic on the top of the Eiffel Tower and gotten Lois’ favorite breakfast from halfway across the world.
I mean insanely good. Not just clever use of panels but a crazy good sense of weight, sound, and motion. Constantly trying new things
Do you have some favorite Kryptonians outside of the El and Zod families? I especially like Van-Zee
Blown away by this panel from Action Comics #31. Not many Golden age panels look like this
Thinkin about what the best Superman artists portray which aspects of the character the best. Gary Frank is tops when it comes to solid strength without going dark, Quitely does grace and mythological like nobody else, and Shaner draws the Clark id most want to be friends with.
