Day 23 was a giraffe! Giraffes don't have horns, they have ossicones, and if that's not the best name for a body part, then I don't know what is. #inktober

In light of today's #inktober prompt of giraffe, here's two I drew earlier. Several years earlier, in fact, when I wondered, would a giraffe wear one long scarf, or several shorter ones? 🤔

Day 22 was a slog but here is a Goat for #inktober, inspired by the goats that live in the gully in the gorge near to where I live.

Day 21 of #inktober, there are only ten days left! Today was a Red Panda, I wish all of my characters were red pandas they are TOO cute. They're more closely related to raccoons than pandas and bears.

Day 20 (already?!) of #inktober is an Alpaca. Alpacas are used as guard llamas for smaller livestock creatures like sheep or chickens. Because they are aggressive towards canids. That's amazing.

Day 19 of #inktober is a Sloth! Sloths aren't very good on the ground but they can swim and their fur collects algae which harbours Sloth moths.

Day 17 of #inktober is a Tiger! I love drawing and stylising tigers. Bengal tigers are charismatic megafauna, don't you know.

Day 16 (I actually thought it was 15 so this file is named wrong) of #inktober is bird! Open ended, so I chose to draw a blue love bird because their faces are super cute. There are nine kinds of love bird and most are indigenous to Africa.

Today's #inktober, day 14, was deer. Africa only has one native species of deer, the Barbary Stag. This is just a baby deer but I'm not sure of the species...

Day 13 for #inktober is a hedgehog. If you're from the UK you know that hedgehogs are best known for crossing the road safely. Always check your bonfires for a hedgehog before lighting them 🍁🔥🦔
