Day 11 is Hippopotamus! #inktober hippos can run up to 19mph and frankly that's terrifying. Do you think they blow bubbles like this? 🤔

Day 10 of #inktober is Dog so of course I picked my partner's favourite, a Shiba Inu! Shiba Inu is sometimes translated as "little brushwood dog" - "inu" means "dog" but the origin of "shiba" is less clear.

Day 9 is Rabbit! This one took extra long because I'm sick and kept coughing. Rabbits are super cute though. For some reason, I can't figure out why, rabbits symbolise fertility. #inktober (i can figure it out btw)

Day 7 of #inktober is Lynx. I love lynxes! This is a Canadian lynx, which is about half the size of the Eurasian lynx. Lynx lynx lynx.

Day 5 of #inktober is Mouse/Rat! So I went with a kangaroo rat. There was a kangaroo rat in Rescuers Down Under but apparently that was more likely to be a Hopping Rat, an example of parallel evolution. 🐀
