Playing with new watercolours before game. The ten on the top left are the newest colours. I wanted to compare them to my existing ones. The PY159 and PR108 granulate differently, I think they’ll shine with layering.

Cyberpunk dystopia. Sanson holds a dubious role in the justice system, struggling with the status quo. Robin is an influencer who rents a room from Sanson.

Second example: Robin for the "Draw Your Favorite Servant In Your Style" meme. I did less level tweaking here. The granulation still comes through.
I think the first example desaturated for some reason. Maybe the paper? It lost the richness of the Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue.
TIME FOR SCANNER EXPERIMENTS! First image is with what I would consider a rookie attempt at balancing saturation/levels on my chibi Robin and Sanson painting. Second is a photo of the image that I originally posted.
The scanner is removing some of the paper texture.

@number1mongrel Here’s some more “Tituba” colour references, this time from cafe merch. I don’t have the original illustration card, so I don’t know if it was lightened in that printing (it looks like that card was from the Chinese volume 2 release?)
@KompyAlter I would have liked her “Burdened with saving everything you love at the expense of your existence” expression to be included.
“Secret awkward dork” is fun too, though.
