I’ve been struggling with Hopkins’s design in the Salem manga. It kept reminding me of something. Game sprite on the left, manga on the right.
After reading through Plague Incident, I desperately wanted to read a fic about Sanson and Sarah’s grim, conflicted journey before Chaldea arrives to save the day. The glimpses we get are so evocative.

The Machine Man series from the event mostly serves as a reintroduction to Aaron.
Western comic timeline compression means that events from before I was born and events from the 2000s now happened a few years apart.
Also, I really wish writers would let Aaron get over Jocasta.
