It brings me so much joy that this is official art because it’s hilarious on many levels.
Finished the Sanson and Robin watercolour this afternoon. Stoneground Watercolour in the Autumn Palette (my current workhorse), Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Ink in black, Fluid Cold Press paper.
I don’t think I’ll reink this, given how much grief inking cold press gave me.
#fgotober Week 1: Autumn Festival, with Abby and Nezha.
Went with a more Western interpretation of an Autumn Festival, thinking about fall fair foods.
Some messy sketches and WIPs for a Friday night: the WIP watercolour version of that Robin/Sanson sketch and a field sketch of the Elora Gorge
Today’s WIP experiments with the light pad. Original sketch. Transfer to Fluid 140lb cold press and inked with Indian ink + school nib. Transfer to Bee Paper 110 lb marker paper and coloured with Copics.
In retrospect I should have used hot press paper.
Teddog thinks too hard about Fate media: Abyssal Cyber Paradise SERAPH edition. I read through the SERAPH manga fan translation last night.
My understanding is that the Epic of Remnant stories are intentionally inspired by media that influenced TM. So… what’s SERAPH about?
Me: I’m satisfied with my current watercolours.
Locally made watercolour I can only easily access here: [exists]
I reduced my choices to one of these three pallets. First is Autumn themed. Second is clay-based. Third is pearlescent. No cross over with my current collection.
Before I go back to work: here’s a fuller version of the quick Robin Hood I drew last night for a profile pic.
All hail everyone’s favourite misfiled Archer! #fgo
