Isn't it great when you're trying to work, or sleep, or ANYTHING and your brain just won't shut up. I've laid in bed for hours trying to sleep but can't because my brain just has to tell me about a bunch of useless stuff for no reason!

I've seen this question asked a lot by autistic people. Every person is different whether autistic or not, so future career prospects are going to be different from person to person. Not every autistic person can be a programmer, or engineer, or accountant. 1/2

I hate when people come over unannounced. I don't care if I have nothing on my schedule I need time to prepare my mind for social interaction. You come over without warning and my mind doesn't have that time to prep.

Happy Day of the Stim! Stimming is something I've done all my life, but only really understood in the last few years. I used to hide my stims as much as I could since I would get mocked for them, but I don't anymore. It's so freeing to be able to stim whenever I need to. 1/3

When I have a meltdown or I shut down it's very rarely caused by just one thing. It's a build up of a bunch of little things others may not notice. They eat away at my spoons until I have none left, and I just can't handle anything anymore.

There's a HUGE difference between celebrating an accomplishment by a disabled person, and making a feel good story about the fact that we simply exist in a world not built for us. We aren't here for your entertainment, or your ableist pity.

It's like mixing up two phrases together, but with your fingers! The disconnect between my brain and my fingers is...interesting sometimes.
