Hmm... Hard to tell if it would somewhat fit or if Dream Ankh was just trolling...
Then again, I never really did have any proper "voice claim" for Ankh up to this point and can't ever really describe what kind of voice I've been reading her tweets and quotes in.
@cIawroline You just have really good art and content. Glad to have found another fellow HAL fan.
She has always shown silly chaotic funnywoman moments since the early mobile art era as well.
Part Time UFO Hot Take:
Ankh is an absolute scrimblo and sexualizing her in fan art is akin to doing the same to the likes of Sans and Spamton.
Jobski is also scrimblo material but clearly the fanart I've seen so far has been one-sided between the two.
@ThanksKirbyWiki These are great examples of making "smear animations" work in 3D visuals. HAL could be embracing western animation for inspiration with the visuals of Mouthful Mode forms
Even the Beast Pack bosses look like they'd be from a funny animal cartoon not unlike the Madagascar movies
Also, Jobski and Ankh would TOTALLY be a perfect fit as Nendoroid figures as well. Especially with their LINE art style proportions
Is Ankh being a djinn shopkeeper a nod to the scrapped idea that the Peddler from Aladdin would've been revealed to be the Genie at the end of the movie, or are turban-wearing merchants in blue a lot more common trope than I thought?
Felt like looking for UFO-themed songs, and apparently I found out that I was designing Gijinka Jobski having a similar haircut as the girl from “Alien Alien”
(The last one actually from one of the Yokai Watch animes, but they look so similar, I’d believe one inspired the other)
