Love that while in the comic we can see the tear running down his face, in the show we only see it after it's left his cheek, floating through space, leaving it ambiguous if it was a tear at all (it was)

I love that the sky starts to turn red as the fight gets bloodier, also implying that this fight has been going on for literal hours in real time.

The now infamous train sequence is really just this singular panel in the comics, wild.

The end of the beginning

Mark is so real for this.

I'm glad that in the show when he says this line, Mark wastes no time giving him hands.

The villain in the top panel is Chronodile, who gets mentioned a few times as an old school Guardians threat, then on the bottom we have the first appearance of Brit, as well as some more Magmanites!

Love me a good direct parallel, and I love that the show similarly paralleled its earlier montage, very cool.
