Fire Emblem has so many interesting characters across 16 main title games. Why exactly do we continue to pick the blank slate Avatar? I get that the history of Fire Emblem in Smash is one of promotional characters, but c'mon.

Byleth's the weakest part of 3H by a longshot.

Piggybacking off of this, since I don't think the CG art of Radiant Dawn gets enough recognition, Daisuke Izuka is the main hand behind the wonderful background and CG work of FE10.

He also did unit art for the DS duology and a fair bit of work for FEH & Cipher. Talented guy.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but good art isn't just made in a single pass. Even the most skilled illustrators will build their piece up from a mere sketch or thumbnail.

Even the beautiful CGs of Radiant Dawn were once just rough planning sketches. Keep pushing forward.
