I'd much have the EU restored than the Snyderverse. Legacy of the Force, Thrawn, and New Jedi Order are vastly superior storylines to everything Disney has introduced since 2012 and pay much more respect to George Lucas' legacy.

People like to credit The Last Jedi for being the first Star Wars story to declare Force users can come from anywhere. Kyle Katarn and Mara Jade are living proof that always being the case. Two former Imperial officers turned Jedi Knights is far more inspiring than Rey's story.
