3. Matt Engarde
For me, a highlight of AA2 has always been that you have to defend someone who's actually guilty. I love how Matt's story affects Phoenix. Also, Matt has one of the most intense witness breakdowns in the trilogy, so gotta give him points for that.
4. Shelly de Killer
I always liked that this guy is straight up an assassin and he just gets away with it. The narrative's job isn't to catch him, he just exist. Granted I've not played AAI2, where I've heard he has a bigger role, but I kind of want to just to see what he does.
5. Mimi Miney
Mimi is one of those characters who I didn't pay much attention to the first time around, but on my replay I found her story to be really good. I feel like when this series occasionally makes the murderers not straight up evil it's usually pretty interesting.
6. Manfred von Karma
I never used to have an opinion on von Karma, but replaying the first game made me realise how effective he was as an ebul endgame villain. Edgeworth was always setup to be sympathetic and a little goofy, but this guy? The game wanted you to hate him.
7. Dee Vasquez
Dee also gets in on style points. Yes, she's clearly been designed to make guys say "step on me", like, just look at that one promo art of her with that gross nerd guy. But you know what? She works for me.
8. Richard Wellington
This guy was your run-of-the-mill tutorial villain, but he gets in because I think he had a lot of style points.
9. Furio Tigre
Another one where I don't like the character per say, but I do think it's hilarious that this buff, orange man with a cardboard badge successfully posed as Phoenix Wright and fooled the legal system.
10. Damon Gant
I'm not a Gant fan, but I've gotta admit that they successfully created a character who's as downright creepy as he's intended to be. As well as going full acab with him being a corrupt chief of police.
1. Raichu
I've been a diehard Raichu stan for as long as I can remember. As soon as I saw thing big orange baby I knew they were my fave. Liking Raichu is a sign that you have good taste, that's just the rules in this house.
2. Boltund
This is the face of a good doggo. Whenever I see Boltund I just want to stroke its head and reassure it that everything's going to be okay.
