4. Yamper
We went to a midnight release of Sword/Shield and this good dog called Winston came and sat by us for the evening, so I called my Yamper "Winnie" in his honour and kept it in my team for the whole game.
5. Mareep
The moment I first laid eyes on Mareep when I first played Pokemon Gold, I loved it. An adorable electric sheep Pokemon! I was so excited to have it in my team and hoped it would evolve into the biggest sheep possible lol
6. Charjabug
Bug bus! I love bug bus so much! Which is good, because I had one for most of my gen 7 run, given that it doesn't evolve until close to the end of the game. My only regret is that we didn't get a Galar version based on blue/green Arriva buses lol
7. Flaaffy
Getting into the big faves now. Flaaffy is adorable and pink, while still keeping its fluffy, sheep qualities. My last run of Pokemon Gold I had Flaaffy as my main girl. <3
8. Toxtricity
Another thing this gen gave us was these two excellent rockstars and I wish them the best of luck in their careers.
10. Galvantula
I'm not a huge fan of spiders in real life, but all of the Pokemon spiders are adorable and I dunno how they do it. (Spoiler: Joltik is also on this list a bit higher up)
@KrokoBlabla i mean... if this was the only time they'd done it i wouldn't even think anything. i guess twice is a coincidence tho. if they do it a third time i'll know someone's gotta a fluttershy kink lmao..........
12. Oricorio
All the Oricorio are great, but the electric one is my favourite. I just think it has an adorable design and since it's available early game, I kept pom pom birb friend in my party for a while.
13. Zebstrika
With a cry that sends fear into my very soul, Zebstrika isn't messing around. It would kill all of us if we looked at it the wrong way and I respect that.
14. Vikavolt
I had Vikavolt on my team for gen 7 and really liked it, definitely falls into the Cool Bug Type category. Ofc it was a late addition since it doesn't evolve until near the end of the game, but I was proud when my little bug bus became Vikavolt.
