This is the first land I designed for this park, and I owe it all to this concept art... a castle made of pines, firs, rocks, and branches. I saw this art a decade ago with no context, and 20-year-old me built Hallow Vale around it – a misty, holy wood around a castle of nature.

This would be such an adorable little mini-land of color and flowers and joy and music and culture and balconies and stairs and stone... exactly what this park needs. It's just such a wonderful place to shop and eat and enjoy.

13. In both EPCOT's France and the real France, REMY'S RATATOUILLE ADVENTURE is a fun trackless ride, even if its focus on screens feels little regressive today. Still interesting to see how it all comes together...

11. I know MILLENNIUM FALCON: SMUGGLERS RUN isn't a perfect ride, but there's SUCH genius in its layout. Guests are funneled down to increasingly more personal (and secretly more duplicated) experiences. Just wildly clever.

7. I know it's not an E-Ticket, but I had to include ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Such a charming, unusual, and delightful indoor/outdoor dark ride, exclusive to Disneyland and set partially ABOVE Mr. Toad! (A Fantasyland with 6 dark rides? This is why Disneyland can't be beat.)

18. Disneyland's "it's a small world" is the original from the 1964 -65 World's Fair (albeit, expanded and reorganized when it came to the park). Magic Kingdom's is from-scratch... and flooded!

16. At this point, comparing Magic Kingdom's 20,000 LEAGUES to Disneyland's FINDING NEMO SUBMARINE VOYAGE is apples to oranges. But crazy how much *else* California's ride supports!
