Heyyyy back into animating that main character
I hate walk animations so much, but at least that's done for now!
It still baffles me that I only became a DBZ fan last year.
And today, the last english dubbed episode of #DragonBallSuper aired!
So a celebration is in order, with a bunch of sprites ✨
I totally didn't spent the last hour refining these little sample automobiles just hoping for @Bandygrass 's approval

Still making assets in my spare time, I'm getting progressively antsy about putting all of this together in an actual game. One more day of art stuff before I delve into actual coding!

Had to get some work done today, so I'm taking it easy so far, making sure I get the style right.
I've considered doing Ludum Dare this weekend, but I might skip it and just focus on making progress / coding this instead. 😄

Today was mockup day!
For the longest time I've wanted to explore new styles, so it's a new palette (for future coding purpose), thick outlines, and bigger sprites than I'm used to, and some environment reference research & tests.
