I just had a realization about Jessi in Toad....

It's got some coming of age stuff and identity crisis mixed in for good measure.

In Toad, Jay is put into a position that will haunt her forever, and she had to do terrible things. With no spoilers, I will say that the fact that she has Beeps the cat and he attaches to her is a huge deal.

In Toad, one of the main three commits murder. Like real death of a person. They kill plenty of monsters, but someone will/has have blood on their hands. 👁👁

In my heart I want to say Jessi from the Toad books, but the reality is that Ginna from the Blockheads series would dominate and humiliate anyone on a field. 😔 She has Beau to thank for that and she would get him out first thing.

In SSTTC, almost all the characters are from an Inktober I tried out several years ago. Only Wren, the MC, wasn't a main part of that initial drawing deal.
