Artists enter shows. Shows where many enter and few are chosen. I enter shows as a means to better myself, Sure there are those shows I get in & win awards. This piece was entered and got the good old rejection notice. It may have stung more because this is my love, my lil' man.

There is a lot of power in this little piece. This is Ignite Change. Over the years we can see how difficult it is to change things. So often there is resistance or fear of change. But, we need things to change and it is up to us to make it happen. What are you going to change?

As we ramble through fall, Coming Over has me thinking about gatherings and Thanksgiving. Who is going to be around your table this year?

I always loved the quote, "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you much keep moving." How true is that?!?!?! Movement is so key to our survival on so many levels. This is Balancing Act.

This is the one that started it all. Well, the one that started my exploration into dimension (and texture). It's titled The Glass Ceiling.

"Keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds". Dreaming is how we find our creativity. When we can let ourselves go and not be bound by societal norms. When we don't care if there are rules or we don't care if we break them.

Morning's Echo has always been a favorite of mine. Is it the patterns and textures? The colors? The values? The composition? I don't know, but I have always really liked this one.
