Put A Ring On It is from the series When We Met. From now until January 23 you can see this up close @Novadogallery. Experience the piece exactly as I painted it. See the textures, layers and undulating curves that are reminiscent of when you first met that special person.
When I created this piece, I must have been thinking about the early morning when there is just a touch of frost with the dew. The wind is blowing. Yet the sun is coming out. Its going to be a wonderful new day! Morning's Echo is available on my web site. https://t.co/oJlztziUbS
Dreaming Instead of Sleeping. While creating this one, Seems when I get ready to sleep, my mind shifts into the next gear. As much as I would love some long restful sleep, my mind does come up with some crazy good solutions to problems over night.
Freezing a moment in time, Who Am I seems like a question many of us may be asking right now? I wanted this piece to have a sense of movement. As if it is constantly changing. As if the next time you look at it, it might be different.
Lately I have been looking at pieces that have areas with techniques I really like, don't use often, but need to use again. On this piece, I really like where I introduced some drawing with graphite enhanced with paint. This is something you will be seeing again soon.
These pieces begin without a preconceived idea. I prefer to have a name for an over arching sense of the piece (but that is in a perfect world. And how often is the world perfect?). Set Me Free is available on my website. Contact me, if interested. https://t.co/oJlztziUbS
Is it just me? This painting, I Need You Now, makes me think of all seasons. It's got those warm reds and rusts of fall. Walks us into Winter with tones of evergreens. Then the softer peaches hold our hand into Spring. And summer, looks like some cool rushing water in there.
Oh how red is a pick me up color? Sometimes I just can't get enough. Can one ever have too much red?

Do you think before we had zoom and video calls that we focused more on people's voices? Isn't it interesting how people need to 'see' people to hear what they are saying? From the Best Friends Have Secrets series - Those Sultry Voices. https://t.co/oJlztziUbS
"Never miss a chance to dance!" What a wonderful thought? Perhaps more now than ever, we need to dance and dance and dance? Perhaps even dance on over to my web site and check out the art. Isn't it time to change up the art in your house? https://t.co/oJlztziUbS
