Warming over the last 40 yrs caused a big difference between the heatwaves of 1976 & 2018 (h/t @SimonLeeWx)
What about the next 50 yrs?
Further warming means when that weather pattern reoccurs, heatwave will be more extreme & extensive.
The amount depends on our CO2 emissions
