I was going to draw Don for some alternate universe villain arc stuff (which is why his expression is Like That) but I got distracted and wound up sketching him with a fade, instead.
Things I learned:
1. Don looks really good with a fade.
Then I said, "What if I try to draw Don's previous aether/'dreamwalking' form, the crystalline one that's full of outer space and has stars for eyes," because I hate myself.
...actually, I think it's coming along pretty decently, I'm astonished, still has a ways to go, though.
Finally "free" to move on to a background by which I mean Jesus take the wheel now I have to do a background.
Thrilled with how Don turned out, though, cape isn't just pretty, it's basically a fancy Bag of Holding for astral weapons. Shooting star fastball to the face, anyone?
Did I really have to put that level of detail into his eyes?
Trick question: Yes, it's *me*, of course I did.
Lots left to do, but still coming along nicely, I think.
Narrator Voice: Seized by some kind of masochistic insanity, she decided to attempt to do this bitch lineless.
.................this is gonna take awhile. Pleased with it so far, though!
I've been working on a little short (hopefully one-shot) comic that's HIGHLY stylized, and this just turned out looking way WAY cooler than I expected, I had to share it~
I meant to post the finished bike by itself and forgot, whoops~
Lighting effects will be done in Photoshop, but... as far as what I plan on doing in Clip Studio, I think, finally, this goddamn motorcycle is *done*...
This motorcycle is going to end me. Every minute working on it is agony, and I pray for death.
