Finishing Don's character art by the skin of my teeth for session 1 of Welcome 2 Madison!
He's finished! Just in time for session 1 (which will be streamed live, oh god I'm still so unfamiliar with how D&D works, they should slap a 'baby on board' decal under my camera feed) this evening, and in spite of the best efforts of my cat to block access to my tablet monitor~
I wanted to completely finish this today, but, almost every time I want to draw, my cat, as though by some evil magic, seems to sense this and flops down in front of my tablet monitor, and it would be illegal for me to move him, so, this is as far as I got, alas...
.....................okay, I'm gonna actually call that a resounding 'Yes' on, "Can I still make iridescent horns?"
Was not expecting that, happy to be surprised.
Okay, the lines and flats probably don't look like much, but, shading is where I put in all the crazy-ass effects like iridescence.
A semi-quick (~6 hour) character portrait of Ben, because it's been too long since I've drawn him, and it's been WAY too long since I've drawn him with his glorious, glorious hair let down.
An alternate universe Don that I'm actually ultra super happy with, he turned out so freaking good.
...also, this file is huge, the final psd is 6,500 x 11,000 pixels, 300 dpi and... 1.57gb. Even the full-size png file is 52mb, it's crazy
