I read about Ryuijie, a Japanese- American photographer. He did a series called "Ice Forms" - botanicals frozen in blocks of ice. They look beautiful, though I do have a strange feeling for all those frozen flowers...

'The Day Dream' (1880), by D.G. Rossetti, depicts Jane Morris. The stem of honeysuckle in her hand, a token of love in the Victorian era, may be an indication of the secret affair the artist was immersed in with her at the time.
