Evangelion 3.33

Again, quite enjoyed this. Was a fun ride from start to finish. Story wasnt as compelling as 2.0, but it was visually a treat. Would love to see a reshowing in theaters one day, I imagine its a very fun time. Just wish it had a little more going story wise.

Evangelion Rebuild 2.0

I really enjoyed this. I'm curious what direction these Rebuild films are going with this new direction. For whatever reason the scenes just hit a little harder for me here than they did throughout Eva, actually got me to tear up a bit.

I was not a fan of this one lol. It has some interesting parts to it, but in the end I found it an unenjoyable mess. I understand its message, but its just episodes 25 and 26 but done in a lot more cynical, depressing, and dare I say malicious fashion.

NGE

It was....an interesting ride. I liked the setting, and the characters were fun. I actually liked episode 25 and 26 too funny enough.

Its a very weird series though. The first part is mostly a coherent plot then it becomes more of a character analysis at the cost of a plot.

Rental Girlfriend
Started with low expectations but enjoyed it. I like some of the themes and points its hitting, and theres a surprising bit of complexity to the cast. Even the antagonists. Just a shame what it does well wont save it from the problems the manga has.

Death Parade

This one was unexpected. Very rarely does an anime hit me on a very emotional level, to the point I shed a few tears. This one actually got me.

Not a single bad episode, and strong consistent writing. I need to think on it some, but possibly top 5 anime for me.

No Game No Life

This was also on a whim. This one was odd. I enjoyed it, very silly anime with an interesting concept. But there was one big element of the show that was off-putting. The cast and plot was fun though. while Im not begging for a S2 I wouldnt say no

Highschool of the Dead
I watched it on a whim after seeing it was on @HIDIVEofficial

This anime is such a shitpost, its amazing. I fucking loved every minute. Animation is surprisingly decent, as is the action. Characters were fun. Unironically a better zombie series than TWD

Kill la Kill
Had this on my list to watch for a while. Some of the most fun Ive had with an anime. Action was good, pace kept up, characters were great. binged it in 2 days.

Also went in expecting to like Ryuko the most, but Satsuki took that spot
