@_plorf I feel like the "power symbols" are more of a little mechanical detail flourish like the little circular holes/indentations on a lot of Izubuchi's work.

According to the credits, Ken Okuyama Design is involved with Kyoukai Senki. You may know them better as the company behind the Gundam G40. The first designer listed is Yuya Koyanagi, the senior designer on that project. Ken Okuyama himself is listed as Design Supervisor.

I remembered loving Robocop Versus Terminator back in college. I had forgotten it had cool shit like this in it.

The official English release is only slightly shorter because "Mobile Suit" but even then it's still Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers.

LRT Oh man! Junji Okubo designed the Jaeger for that new Pacific Rim anime? You may know him from things like the For the Barrel reimagining of Gundam, not to mention Steel Battalion.

Oh no I am down a Wild Speed rabbit hole and am cross referencing the Fast & The Furious dub cast with Gundam. Dom has been voiced by four actors, three with roles in Gundam: Naoya Uchida, Taiten Kusunoki.... and AKIO OTSUKA in a TV version of F&F4 of all things
