@NASA announced it has isolated the mass and location of what could be a “wandering” black hole using @NASAHubble. This is the first time in the agency’s history it has been able to achieve this, despite there being over 100 million black holes populating our galaxy.

Researchers using NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope will map and model the core of nearby galaxy Centaurus A.
Centaurus A sports a warped central disk of gas and dust, which is evidence of a past collision and merger with another galaxy. 🤯🤓
