Erh, all these new DC books sound great???

I think these two are gonna be vying for movie of the year for me

A week behind on books, so only just read Superman/Authority #2. Morrison’s writing has an infectious glee here that spills out of the plot and dialogue. At the halfway point it still feels a bit unfocused though, so hopefully the latter half brings it together

I’ve gone from not caring about the Hulk as a solo character to being FULLY invested in the Hulk and his supporting cast

Just learned that Robson Rocha passed away, What the fuck, I’m at a loss for words.

He was such a towering talent with an impeccable and elegant style. I was waiting for him to tackle the project that would cement him as the true A-lister he had always been.

Been catching up on book two of Skyward by @LeeGarbett & @Henderson_Joe. Which is just a delightful action-adventure, and an effortless read. Garbett really makes it all sing as he underscores the script’s character work with dynamic figures and action.

Certain characters eg. Flash, Titans, JSA are still reeling from all the drastic changes forced upon them ten(!) years ago.

At the same time, it did succeed in repositioning a few books into linchpin franchises. Aquaman would never be as big now without the n52 incarnation

Been catching up on X-Men titles the past two days. Isn’t it unprecedented how strong the entire line is considering the amount of titles there are? They’ve done such a good job of fleshing out the new status quo, while keeping the characters engaging and growing (Marauders esp)
