Enjoyed painting these command bases. The standard on the right was taken from the "Mr Kipper" image in the Berne Chronicle. My apologies to Dave Andrews who, in fact, sculpted the wonderful Foundry Swiss. I wrongly attributed them to the Perrys the other day.

@migalerabidus If you look at period illustrations, only one prominent area of the town is ever shown as being defended, usually the gate. What I’ve done is replicate that, so the wall sections immediately adjacent to the gate can a garrison. The other walls are unmanned, as per the chronicles.
