@Zenith_BunSquad You could make it work for Jar Jar if he didn't feel like a constantly liability. Goofy but lovable characters are relatively easy. Like Coop from Megas XLR is a skilled combatant. Bolin from Korra is a doof but a great earth bender. The key is to find that middle ground.

@Zenith_BunSquad George really wanted Jar Jar to be his Goofy because he adores the character and wanted Goofy in Star Wars. Honestly would say he succeeds but he doesn't give Jar Jar enough of the lovable traits Goofy has. Jar Jar comes off more a nuisance then a well intentioned doofus.
